Mission
Living Earth Designs is a full-service landscape architecture firm dedicated to providing thoughtful residential landscape design to contractors in a way that is consistent and affordable so that contractors can focus on what they do best, craftsmanship. We create residential outdoor living experiences that uniquely reflect your clients’ lifestyles using the products and suppliers that you already use.
Process
We get to know your company, your processes, your clients and deliver a design your clients’ will love and your crews can install with ease. You will have no need for an in house designer, we have your back. Our fees are based on project size and can easily be included in the cost of the project, giving you access to top notch design at no real cost to you.
01. Thoughtful observation

Knowledge is power. As you meet and do walk-throughs with your clients we gather all the info we need by providing you a questionnaire with questions for your clients that addresses practical and emotional questions as it relates to design. You provide us with a firm profile form, a filled in client questionnaire, as-built measurements, photos of the site and a target completion date and we do the rest.
02. conceptual design

Your clients’ landscape needs to respond to functional requirements, but it should also reflect your clients’ unique lifestyle. We provide 3d renderings and a plant board to translate what we know about your client and their property into a concept that illustrates the potential of their landscape to not only meet functional needs but to express the intangible. We offer an introductory coaching session in how to deliver a concept to a client when you sign up for your first project.
03. Detailed Buildable Plans

We take the time to finesse your clients’ plans and get them right. Using information you provide about what materials, products and suppliers you already use, we create detailed construction documents. Our plan include all specifications and construction detailing needed for a successful installation, and are designed to be legible in the field. Plans include a hardscape plan, dimension plan, planting plan and detailing as needed.
04. Guided Construction process

LED helps guide you through the installation process. We answer questions and provide shop drawings as needed to support you in the installation process and to make install as smooth as possible for you and your clients.

What You Get
3D Renderings
Experiential spaces
We can provide 3D renderings to support either the concept plan phase or final design phase. Our 3D renderings are as accurate as is possible with limitations to specific plant species, etc. and are intended to convey the essence of what a space feels like to be in.
Blueprints
Construction Documents
Our blueprints are thorough and include all the information necessary to construct the project as designed. In cases of extreme grade additional costs may apply. In instances where HOA approvals are required, plans will be completed to meet HOA approval requirements with an additional flat fee.
